It has been one year since The Woodworking Minimalist store was created and Sugita's saws and saw guides became available in the United States. The book, Woodworking Joinery by Hand, has continued to gain in popularity (having sold 5000 copies within the first year) and is currently in it's second printing. If you are anything like me, you enjoy the quiet, peaceful and safe approach to the craft. I was honestly surprised at the precision I could also achieve through this unique method. As I gained in experience and confidence in Sugita's methodology, I realized that the desired results could be achieved through patience and simple math.
