MIRAI Aluminum Ripping Guide
MIRAI Aluminum Ripping Guide
The Aluminum Ripping Guide is the most important tool in the book, Woodworking Joinery by Hand, in which Sugita's Woodworking Method is represented. It works to position the saw blade to cut from the end of the wood. The positioning accuracy can be precisely determined in 0.1 mm (0.003937") increments. It can be used for ripping a variety of wood joints and is especially suitable for accurately cutting tenon thickness. The Ripping Guide can also be used to cut rabbet joints, half-lap joints, spline joints, and bridle joints. In addition, it can be changed from right-handed to left-handed use due to the guide's interchangeable acrylic fence. Therefore, the Ripping Guide is very versatile and an excellent value.
The Ripping Guide comes with pre-installed magnetic sheets and all hardware as shown in the instructions, including the spacers.
